Based in rural Wiltshire. Emily has contributed post graduate research in psychology of songwriting and experimental composition, and is now working as a music lecturer and researcher. Emily's art, mostly through the medium of performance, poetry and sound, has aimed to challenge thoughts on cultural norms, sexuality and connection.

She hopes to contribute better mental health resources for neurodivergent artists and musicians, with a focus on individuals from poorer socio-economic backgrounds.

Since 2011, Emily has been developing live shows under various titles, performing with creators such as Phoebe Bridgers, Elvis Depressedly, Wolf Alice, Jasmine.4.t and Heather Woods Broderick. She has released with labels such as Breakfast Records and Art Is Hard on vinyl and cassette format. Emily's first cassette 'When The Half Moon Strobes' (2017) was wrapped in chains within its case as commentary on the physical audio resurgence. 'Distant Television Studios' (2019) was later released on heavyweight LP in pastel ice-cream stripe. The record explored themes of social isolation and featured several Bristol collaborators, including art prints by Molly Davies.

She has drawn influence from the community spirit found in NYC's Epoch Collective, and the early futurism of PC Music. In more recent projects, Emily draws influence from the vast and changing rural landscape around her cottage, as she seeks a quieter, less stimulating lifestyle away from the city.

Emily sees her own musical project as creative expression and connection, rather than commercial business.
